Ask the Invisalign Expert: How Long Does It Take to Finish Invisalign Treatment at Atlantis Dental
Dr. Naqvi: Hello, everyone! We're back again with the ask the Expert. So do you have a question for me?
Dan: I do! So how long is a typical patient in Invisalign?
Dr. Naqvi: Okay, good question. You know, used to be like, two years.
Dan: Wow
Dr. Naqvi: Yeah Invisalign you know, really perfected their product. And because I'm highly trained in Invisalign and I've been practicing with it for so many years, I have cut down this time to like 4 to 6 months, depending on each patient.
Dan: So a lot of our patients ask me that they went through a lot of the clear aligners the take home clear aligners that companies ship you a bunch of aligners and they asked me because those never worked on them.
So they asked me, Will Invisalign work?
Dr. Naqvi:
We have seen a lot of patients who had no results, right? Or in some cases it was it actually got worse than what they had because when you saw the previous pictures of those actually better before and then we had to I had to correct it with Invisalign.
So, yes, Invisalign does work because, you know, I'm an expert in Invisalign.
Dan:
I have some patients who ask me, does Invisalign work better than braces?
Dr. Naqvi:
Hmm Great question and until, like maybe 10, 15 years ago I would have said no.
But I wasn't that well trained 10, 15 years ago, to tell you the truth. Right and I got a very high level of training and I realized, OMG, it works.
And I actually have treated patients now that I would have never treated 15 years ago. And it's just because the higher level of training that I got and we've seen so many Invisalign patients and we have great results like I've always been able to move the teeth.
So, yes, it worked.
